Wall Color Inspiration

So in our new flat there are two walls that are simply irritating to look at, we are planning to paint them before we move in. The first color you see when you walk in the entrance/office is this florescent green wall surrounding these lovely white French door opening to the living room. There was also this banana yellow wall in the living room. So it’s a funky space, but those colors took all the attention off the beautiful exposed brick, I need to make the space chic and inviting again. I want to pick the perfect complementary accent color for these walls. I have been playing around with color fans and finding nice grays, beiges & khaki’s color that could work. I figured that anything green base was out; it would clash with the red from the brick. My final choice was an achy beiges that would bring out the sandy hues from the cement & brick combo. The winner for me was “natural cotton” by Sico.

I'm relocating to a new apartment in Downtown Toronto. I'm feeling inspired by vibrant colors and patterns, but I've been conservative in my decor style. I'm looking to add some flare my new place. I’m going to get crafty and let you all in on it. I have a few projects coming up soon, have a look:
1. Paint two walls that will accentuate the exposed brick.
2. Freshen up an old dresser, to give my bedrooms some extra storage.
3. Create a home office were clients can come in feel welcome and chat.
